Arizona Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center provides intensive care, extended monitoring, and specialized healthcare services to pets of the Phoenix metro area, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Critical Care Capabilities

AVECCC is equipped to perform a wide array of specialized critical care procedures. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and are staffed by our expert veterinary team 24 hours a day. Here are some of the procedures and services that our critical care facility provides:

  • Hemodialysis

  • Therapeutic plasma exchange

  • Advanced pain control

  • Advanced blood pressure support and monitoring

  • In-depth rounding for case management

Situations Where Your Pet May Require Critical Care

If your pet has been brought in to our facility for emergency care services, or if your pet is suffering from any of the following, they may require extended critical care services.

  • Unresponsiveness

  • Struggling to breathe

  • Broken bones

  • Wounds

  • Bites or stings from a snake or insect

  • Bites from an unvaccinated animal

  • Seizures

  • Anaphylactic shock

  • Heatstroke
